A hand-drawn batik dyed blue on a fine white cotton base. The main design is a mega mendung symbol that is intended to ward off evil spirit. Elaborately decorated altar cloths reflecting elements of Buddhism were important items in Chinese temples and households to ensure prosperity, wealth and well-being. This Tok Wi is signed (See Inset Photo).
