Handwoven Ikat Shoulder and Ceremonial Cloth

This Ikat weaving was handwoven on a back-strap loom on the island of Timor. It is estimated to be between 30 and 50 years old and it functioned as part of a tribal ceremonial dress. This ikat is in excellent condition.
