Product Description

Executed in the Shan style and dates from the early 18th as witnessed by the lovely stepped base or throne and general iconography of the piece. Buddha sits in Bhumisparsa posture and is dressed in a fine robe detailed in the Shan style with multiple robe flaps reaching to his waist on his front and in the rear extending all of the way down the back of the figure.
